Starting a Classic or Sportscar Hire Business?
HCHG Training Course
Since the HCHG was founded in November 2003 we have been keen to see the classic car hire marketplace grow. We have received a continual stream of enquiries from people interested in running a business hiring out classic cars.
Up to now these have been answered on an ad hoc basis, by the HCHG Committee Members.
We now feel that the time has come to handle these on a more formal basis which will be the best way of ensuring all enquirers receive a consistent level of quality information and advice.
To that end we are pleased to announce a series of one day seminars for those interested in establishing a classic or sports car hire business.
This course has been designed by the HCHG to answer the host of questions posed by would-be entrants to this very specialised area of business activity.
Led by experts who are actively engaged in the business, the course will benefit anyone who is considering setting up a business hiring out classic or sports cars. The day will give you a complete overview of establishing a classic or sports car rental operation, from the generalities of establishing a business, to the intricacies of buying and selling vehicles and providing high levels of customer service.
During the day you will be guided through:
- Legal, accounting and taxation issues involved in setting up a business.
- The market place - classic car clubs, classic car hire, classic car tours, leasing in cars, sports car hire, wedding hire.
- The day-to-day issues involved in setting up and running a classic and sports car hire operation.
- Buying and selling classic and sports cars suitable for hiring out.
There will be plenty of opportunity for you to ask questions and exchange ideas with others on the course. We are limiting each course to no more than 12 people to ensure everyone receives plenty of personal attention.
Information on next course date will be available shortly. Please note: Attendance of this course is not a prerequisite for membership of the HCHG nor does it imply entry to the Guild. Membership applications are handled separately and are dealt with on an individual basis.
