Designed and built in Britain of course, the E Type was probably the pinnacle of Seventies car design. On its release in 1961, the Jaguar E-Type was called ‘the most beautiful car in the world’ by none other than Enzo Ferrari himself. Just a month after the launch of the original E-Type open-top roadster in Geneva, Graham Hill entered the E-Type for its first race at Oulton Park – and won.
Our 1972 Series III is an awesome example of this beautiful car, and being a convertible will give you a real ’seat of your pants’ experience. The 5.3 litre V12 engine delivers everything you’d expect, and the uprated vented front discs and power steering on this model make for a surprisingly refined and up to date drive.
