The most sought after version of the Healey 3000, the Mk. III phase two combines the great driving formula of the earlier six-cylinder Healey's with a more comfortable, practical cockpit, with its wind-up windows, attractive instrumentation and wood-veneer dash.
We have selected the very best example from a UK wide search for you to drive, finished in the classic Healey colours of Ice Blue and Ivory this car has only ever done very limited mileage, and is in highly original fettle. Re-upholstered in blue leather with new wet weather equipment the car is in excellent order and is the ideal cruiser, eating up the Westcountry roads at low revs with its long-legged ohv six.
The gearbox is tight, in fact feels like new, with positive clutch, gearbox and brakes, this big-engined sportscar is a delight to drive and where better to enjoy it than in Donald Healey's own county - Cornwall.
